Chamila Bandara counts over 23 years of commercial exposure in FMCG, Manufacturing and Service Sectors in both MNC and local conglomerates. She started her career at Nestle Lanka and moved over to Coats Thread covering mainly Financial Management and Management Accounting prior to joining Hayley’s Advantis Group in 2007. During her tenure at Hayleys Advantis she excelled in Logistics and Transportation sectors whilst heading Finance in some of the key SBUs within the Group. Chamila joined Mountain Hawk Express licensee of Federal Express Corporation in 2015 and currently heading the Company representing both Sri Lanka and Maldives.

She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA) and a Post Graduate Diploma holder of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (CIM). She has been exposed to extensive training locally and internationally. She is currently serving in the Executive Committee of WISTA.

She’s a strong advocate of work life balance and keeps fit with regular Yoga sessions and morning walks. This enables her to keep abreast of the multiple demands of leading a dynamic team as well as guiding two growing up daughters. She loves to spend her free time travelling with the family and coupling it up by perusing a good book.
