Jon has been part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk organization for over 27 years. He is currently a member of APM Terminals Executive Team and serves as Chief Executive - Asia & Middle East. In this capacity he is responsible for APM Terminals' operations, JV investments, and supports our new investment initiatives across the region. He is a Non-Executive Director on multiple boards.

Prior to 2021, Jon was Chief Commercial Officer for APM Terminals’ Globally and was responsible for contracting and pricing for APM Terminals’ Key Client Program. During this time, he was instrumental in building commercial capabilities throughout the organization and successfully grew APM Terminals’ revenue and market share during the last major shakeup of global container shipping alliances.

Jon has an international mindset and has had the privilege to live and work in the U.S., China, Denmark, Netherlands, and Singapore in various leadership positions across all the Group's lines of business - with most of his career being spent with APM Terminals and abroad.

Other leadership experiences included General Manager for Maersk Logistics – East China, Managing Director – APM Terminals Tacoma, and Chief Commercial Officer APM Terminals – North and Latin America.

Mr. Goldner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University and has his Third Officers License in the US Merchant Marine. He received his MBA from Columbia University, New York. He is active in his local Anglican church, married, and is the proud father of three children.
