Abdullah Farrukh is a prominent leader in Pakistan’s maritime and logistics sector, currently serving as the Chairman of the All-Pakistan Shipping Association (APSA) and a member of the Prime Minister's Task Force for Revamping the Maritime Sector in Pakistan. He is also on the board of a strategic joint venture between Gulftainer (Sharjah) and Pak Shaheen Group, contributing to the enhancement of Pakistan’s port infrastructure.
Since 2010, Abdullah has been the Director of Pak Shaheen Group, where he manages a diverse range of services, including liner agency, container depots, off-dock terminals, 3PL logistics, land transportation, and heavy machinery dealership. His role as an Agency Owner for Samudera Shipping Line Ltd and Sarjak Container Lines Pvt Ltd in Pakistan showcases his capacity to build and sustain international partnerships.
Abdullah's expertise is further strengthened by a certification in Anatomy of Ship Finance from the Cambridge Academy of Transport, issued in 2017. This credential underscores his deep understanding of the financial complexities of the shipping industry. His previous roles include Convenor at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and Executive Director at CMA CGM Pakistan.
He holds an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.
