- Mr. Zafir Hashim is the President of the Transportation and Plantation Sectors at John Keells Holdings (JKH), one of Sri Lanka's leading diversified conglomerates. With over 21 years of experience in the Group, he plays a key strategic role and is a member of the JKH Group Executive Committee. Zafir holds a Master's degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering.

- Zafir has extensive experience in the petroleum and bunker industry, having spent over 21 years in various leadership roles. He served as the CEO of Lanka Marine Services, the largest bunker supplier in Sri Lanka, from 2005 to 2015, and continued his involvement as a director with the company thereafter. Additionally, Zafir has contributed to the industry as a speaker at both local and international seminars and conferences, where he addressed key issues related to the bunker sector.

- Zafir also serves as a Director representing the Group in its various subsidiary and associate companies. His oversight includes organizations in the transportation and plantation industries, such as South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), Colombo West International Terminals (CWIT), DHL, Maersk Lanka, and other both listed and non-listed entities.
