Chinthaka Abeywickrama is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Netlogix Group head quartered in Auckland, New Zealand.

Prior to founding Netlogix Group in 2012, Chinthaka served as CEO of Fonterra Group’s subsidiary Dairy Transport Logistics, Chief Operating Officer at Wellington International Airport, Chief Executive of Carter Holt Harvey Lodestar (Shipping and Logistics division of Carter Holt Harvey – One of the largest forest products companies in New Zealand). Chinthaka Joined Carter Holt Harvey in 1998 after a long career in Sri-Lanka, where he held senior management positions in export shipping division of Hayleys Limited.

Chinthaka holds Master’s Degree in Transport Logistics, MBA from Otago University-New Zealand, and Bachelor’s Degree in Science from University of Kelaniya (Sri-Lanka) and Chartered Fellow and past President of CILT New Zealand.

Chinthaka has also served as a Director of Port Napier, New Zealand, member of New Zealand Shippers Council, Colombo Chamber of Commerce and Sri-Lanka Shippers Council during his time in Sri-Lanka.
