Joining the industry in 2002, his experience expands almost 20 years in the fields of Marine Operations / Bunkering / Shipping Agency /Liner Shipping / Feeder operations / Customs House Brokering / NVOCC / Freight forwarding and Logistics.

He was instrumental in Setting up the Bunker operations for M/s Inter Ocean Energy Pvt Ltd, a brand-new subsidiary of the McLarens Group at the time.

Served in the capacity of Chairman of the Young Shipping Professionals of CASA giving leadership to the Youth of CASA and is also the Founder /Patron of Youngship Sri Lanka chapter.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Ship Brokers and served as an Exco Member of the ICS Sri Lanka branch.

A member of the chartered Institute of Logistics and transport (CILT, UK).

Holds a MBA from the University of Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK.

Served as Exco member of SLANA (NVOCC operators) and presently serving as an Exco member of the SLAFFA (Freight forwarders association).

Passionate for Sports and Music being a past national Badminton Player and holds two original music videos.
