Ganesh is a 3rd generation entrepreneur and business professional. Ganesh holds an undergraduate degree from University of Madras and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. Ganesh also holds an MBA from the University of Southern New Hampshire, USA. He held senior management consulting positions with Steria and IBM in the UK before re-joining the family business as vice Chairman 10 years ago.

Eswaran Brothers is the third largest manufacturer and marketer/exporter of value-added tea to over 55 countries employing over 500 people. Eswaran Brothers is the first Certified Carbon Neutral Tea company in the world and lives by the principles of sustainability and ethical business practices as established by its founder Mr D Eassuwaren.

Ganesh also held the Chairmanship of the Tea Exporters Association of Sri Lanka which accounts for over 80% of Sri Lanka’s Tea exports and of the Plantation Human Development Trust a tripartite organization between the government the planation companies and Unions, set up to look after the livelihood upliftment of the Plantation Workers in Sri Lanka. He is also the elected Exporter Member of the Colombo Tea Traders Association the Apex private sector body that facilitates the Tea auctions and exports of Tea in Sri Lanka.
