Sanjay Melvani is the Chief Executive Officer of Yokohama TWS Sri Lanka, a strategic manufacturing hub within The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., Japan, a global enterprise with revenues exceeding EUR 6.5 billion. With over 30 years of leadership experience in finance, operations, and business transformation, he leads a workforce of more than 1,200 employees and oversees annual revenues of approximately USD 160 million.

Under his leadership, Yokohama TWS Sri Lanka has strengthened its position as a high-performing operation, delivering improvements in supply chain efficiency, working capital management, and organisational capability. He has driven strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, supplier financing, and leadership development, resulting in enhanced business performance and resilience.

Mr. Melvani holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He has further enhanced his executive leadership capabilities through advanced management programs at IMD Switzerland and international operational leadership forums.
