Yohan is an accomplished business leader with over 20 years of senior management experience in Sri Lanka’s apparel industry, including four years with the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), the apex body representing the sector.

He holds a B.Sc. (Econ) from University College London, an MBA from Middlesex University, UK, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK.

Beginning his career in apparel manufacturing, Yohan gained extensive hands-on and senior management experience with leading international apparel companies. He has also served as Chairman of the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association (SLAEA) and Vice Chairman of JAAF.

Since 2021, he has served as Secretary General of JAAF, representing and advancing the interests of Sri Lanka’s apparel industry. He also provides strategic and operational consultancy to export-sector companies.

With extensive experience in manufacturing, export development, policy advocacy and industry representation, Yohan brings strong industry expertise, commercial insight and stakeholder engagement to Sri Lanka’s export sector.
